Ahab Van Helsing Commercial Shoot

Well it's been a week so it's time for another blog post.

Last Thursday night my buddy Travis came over, along with my friend Mike, my brother Andy and my Dad Dad, to help me film a commercial for my Gofund me campaign for the next issue of my comic. It was also just an excuse to put my dog in a shark costume with bat wings attached to it.

It was a fun night. Fonzie must of loved it because the commercial mostly consisted of her licking peanut butter of us to make it look like we were under attack.

Check out the video here. And if you want to donate that would be rad too. ;)

I also created a Thread less store in case you wanted a vampire shark duvet or shower curtains.

New Tattoo! What a freak!

So if you do not know me through my blog you may have gathered that I am a huge fan of the Simpsons. I have always wanted a Simpsons tattoo but could never think of what would be the Simpsons tattoo for me. For a while I thought I would go with Flying Hell Fish logo that Grandpa Simpsons has on his arm. Although I do like it, it didn't seem to be the one I wanted.

There is moment in one of my favorite episodes Marge on the Lam that makes me laugh extremely hard every time I see it. Homer over hears that there is with woman with "a lot of blue hair" and thinks of some strange monster instead of his wife.

And I knew that was the one for me so last Friday this happened. Yes it came out amazing but I have had to explain to people what it is way more than I thought I would. I'll say "It's Marge Simpson." and they seem to be left confused to say the least.

A lot of blue hair?

Won't You Be My Neighbor

Tuesday night I was able to see the documentary about Mr. Rogers called "Won't You Be My Neighbor." It maybe the best feel good movie of the year, the way he treated people and how much he genuinely seemed to love was inspiring. It's also fascinating to learn that he hated television. I think it's inspiring to see someone who looked at something they really disliked and tried to use it in a better way instead of condemning it and its evils like many people seem to. Plus he had his flaws just like the res to of us. Near the end they ask you to sit quietly for one minute and think about someone who has had an affect on your life. That was a very emotional moment for me.

July 4th

I had a nice and lazy July 4th! Grilled some brats with my family and watched the best 4th of July movie of all time Jaws! I love everything about that movie and yes it was inspiration of certain Vampire Shark comic book.

But most of the day was spent play a new game I picked up Jurassic World Evolution, a sim game where you build and operate a Jurassic Park. From what I can tell almost a direct squeal to the early 2000s game Jurassic Park Operation Genesis, which is totally fine by me.

The first night I played it all my dinosaurs got sick and died and the next day a dinosaur got out and ate a guy so I maybe demoted in the Jurassic World universe to fry cook or something. But so far I love this game!
