HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

I remember standing in the crowd at a club in Portland waiting for the band Fratellis. I had a thought to myself, I cannot believe I did this. I traveled all the way across the country to see a band, I should document this. Two weeks later I was on a stage for Des Moines Air Guitar, ripping my shirt off with googly eyes taped to my nipples to a crowd a screaming fans, the next week I was brought onto a stage by Kato Kaelin to do stand up comedy in front of Gandalf the Grey and Harley Quinn at Wizard World. I finally decided I am going to start a blog about my so called adventures.

In the year since I have been to

Chicago, Iowa City, Kansas City, and even Boston! This blog has literally spanned the entire country!

Wes and I finally got to see Tenacious D live and I saw Dropkick Mupry's in Boston on Saint Patrick's Day! I have made friends, tried new restaurants, saw live concerts, released the third issue of my vampire shark comic, done air guitar in front of a crowd at the Des Moines Barnstormers, went to a kick ass aquarium, and even saw a super hot in chick in glasses!

Word of advice, if you get the chance to see a show out of your normal wheel house I recommend it. I never thought Ke$ha or Taylor Swift could rock so hard!

Also check out Glorious Sons. They opened for the Struts and I think we will see big things from them.

I have a ton of places I still want to see and shows I want to go to so I have no intent on stopping now.
