Lauryn Live at Peace Tree
I have been trying to get Lauryn into Des Moines for some time. With how much family she has here I figured it would be a smash. Finally, after much searching, we found a place that was willing to host her. Peace Tree Brewing Co. They set up a show on June 16th, Father's Day.
Kaylin, Lauryn and I left a bit early to stop off at Plain Talk Books and Coffee to see if they would be willing to carry Millie the Duck. They jumped all over that opportunity!
They also had a singer performing from 1 to 3 by the name Greenmont. We stayed and listen to a couple songs. He was good.

After that we made our way to Peace Tree. Lauryn began setting up and soon the show started. I was not surprised that they were flooded with friends and family. But I did notice a couple people who didn't know her seem to take notice of her talent. As always it was an impressive performance and I am sure the first of many in our great state.
